DSD Student Art Show 2025

Exhibition Run Dates:

04.10–05.16

Each year Bountiful Davis Art Center hosts the Davis School District Student Art Show, an exhibition of art created by high school and junior high students in this area. Being a part of this show gives students the opportunity to display their artwork in a gallery space and be part of a professionally juried show. Each student will be able to submit up to three pieces of art.

The link for submissions is forthcoming. An email with detailed instructions for submitting artwork will also be sent out after the holidays.

IMPORTANT DATES:
Applications open: March 1, 2025
Application due: March 10, 2025 (before midnight)
Artists are notifies: March 13, 2025 via email
Artwork drop-off: March 29-April 5 (exact times TBD)
On view: April 10-May 16, 2025
Opening reception at BDAC: Thursday, April 10 @ 6-8pm. Awards announced at 7pm.

GUIDELINES and ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Each student may submit up to three pieces of art. All 2-D art must be framed and ready to be hung. To make your art compatible with our hanging system, please attach D-rings and wire to the back of your 2-D art.

Study-work (copying from artists or photographs) is acceptable with proper credit.

Art work must be delivered to the Bountiful Davis Art Center between during the specified drop-off dates, likely March 29-April 5. Address is 90 North Main Street, Bountiful, UT.

Artists will be asked to fill-out a loan form upon drop-off. Late artwork will not be accepted.

Art must be picked-up within a week of the show closing on May 16th. BDAC is not responsible for work not picked up.

There will be one Best of Show Award given.

There will also be 1st, 2nd, 3rd place and Honorable Mention winners in several categories
