OPENING RECEPTION AUGUST 16, 6 - 8 PM

 

The responsibility of an artist is to find some type of truth. To look at the world in a new light and
give their vision for others to contemplate. We fail sometimes, but we do have our successes.
To communicate we build on our relationships with the surrounding world. Truth has become
fluid with all voices given equality, when in fact some ideas and thoughts are not based on any
truth. With deep fakes, lies, fantasies and simple untruths, we must as a society insist on things
that are real. The Round Earth Society philosophy is that the world is a globe.
The Flower Series talks about the different stages of one’s life and relationships. As we age and
grow, we are picking up blemishes, bumps and bruises. Finding the story as we come full circle.
My hope is that you find something of interest and a little truth.
