Class Description
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at pottery on the wheel? Join us for a one-day pottery sampler, designed to give you a hands-on introduction to the art of wheel throwing. In this class, you’ll learn the basics of centering clay on the wheel and shaping simple forms like cups and bowls. The pieces you create will be finished and glazed by the instructor over the following weeks, ready for pickup after their final firing. Whether you’re looking for a fun date night activity or exploring a potential new hobby, this class is the perfect way to experience the joy of working with clay! About the Instructor: Bronson is very passionate about pottery. He recognizes the importance of patience and encouragement when it comes to guiding young minds towards finding their own creative expression and artistic voices. He also feels that everyone’s minds are uniquely different and believes compassion and empathy are important tools when it comes to teaching art. Bronson enjoys many other forms of artistic expression including watercolor, crochet, acrylic paint, doodling, and more. He is excited to share his passion for pottery and help students discover their own styles through working with clay.

Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are to be paid before the beginning of each class. A spot in a class is not guaranteed until full tuition and fees are paid. All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment and Bountiful Davis Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum number of students required. Every effort is made to notify those registered of cancellations. Fees for classes canceled by the Art Center will be fully refunded. Classes can be prorated if the student notifies the art center at the time of registration or no later than 3 days before the first class begins. Cancellation/Refund Terms for classes: Classes cancelled by the art center: 100% refund Student cancels before first class: $10 fee (Please e-mail kaye@bdac.org for refund, less $10 fee) Student cancels after beginning of first class: No refund
