Class Description
May 1st Tiger in the Garden Students can draw a tiger from observation,then use three dimensional pieces made from painted paper to be added to the composition later, giving students the opportunity to explore the element of balance. May 8th Layered Rainforest Collage Learning about the unique layers of a rainforest, from the forest floor to the tops of the trees, is fascinating. This lesson focuses on the element of space with fun peek-a-boo cutouts and overlapping rainforest flora and fauna. May 15th Flowers of the Rainforest This bright, punchy lesson is inspired by the incredible diversity of flowers that grow in tropical rainforests. In this lesson, students have the choice of drawing from a drawing guide, source image or a combination of the two. Using the ladder technique while coloring with marker is the technique focus in this lesson. May 22 Chameleon Using pastel resist, student will draw this beautiful creature and then use watercolor to help it blend in like a chameleon.

Cancellation Policy
Registration fees are to be paid before the beginning of each class. A spot in a class is not guaranteed until full tuition and fees are paid. All classes have a minimum and maximum enrollment and Bountiful Davis Art Center reserves the right to cancel classes that do not meet the minimum number of students required. Every effort is made to notify those registered of cancellations. Fees for classes canceled by the Art Center will be fully refunded. Cancellation/Refund Terms for classes: Classes cancelled by the art center: 100% refund Student cancels before first class: $10 fee (Please e-mail kaye@bdac.org for refund, less $10 fee) Student cancels after beginning of first class: No refund
