At Bountiful Davis Art Center, we’re excited to introduce two exceptional new team members: Ange Horn, our new Grants and Membership Manager, and Nettie Unrau, our new Registrar. These talented professionals bring unique skills and passions to BDAC, helping us move into an exciting new phase of growth while honoring our history.
Meet Ange Horn – Grants and Membership Manager
With over 25 years of experience in nonprofit operations and administration, Ange Horn is a leader in building community and fostering connection. Ange’s dedication to inclusion and accessibility makes her an ideal fit for BDAC, where she will focus on securing grants, growing membership, and strengthening relationships with supporters.
Ange’s expertise is matched by her passion for community. Her work is guided by a belief in the power of arts and education to bridge gaps and bring people together. When she’s not championing BDAC’s mission, Ange enjoys exploring the Wasatch, traveling, and knitting.
We’re excited to see Ange’s energy and expertise drive BDAC’s fundraising and community engagement efforts.
Meet Nettie Unrau – Registrar
Nettie Unrau is an archivist, photographer, and educator with a passion for preserving and sharing stories through art and history. With expertise in archival studies and cataloging, Nettie brings a meticulous approach to her work, ensuring that BDAC’s collections and history are preserved for future generations.
At BDAC, Nettie will focus on overseeing collection care and cataloging, archiving the center’s 50-year history, and ensuring that the art collection is expertly managed. Her dedication to cultural preservation and her creative vision make her a valuable addition to the BDAC team. When she’s not working with art and archives, Nettie enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
Looking Ahead: A Vision for the Future
The addition of Ange and Nettie represents more than just staffing changes—it’s part of BDAC’s broader strategy to solidify our position as a cornerstone of the regional arts community. With their contributions, BDAC is making strides toward institutionalizing procedures and establishing systems that will support exponential growth over the next decade.
BDAC’s vision extends beyond being a local art center; we are committed to becoming a leading regional arts institution, recognized for our outstanding exhibitions, community programming, and dedication to fostering local talent. While our focus remains on serving the local population, we aim to amplify our impact by attracting regional and national attention to the incredible work happening within our walls.
Ange’s expertise in fundraising and membership development will help us build the financial foundation needed to expand our reach and capabilities. Her work will bring in critical resources to support innovative programs, artist opportunities, and community engagement initiatives.
Meanwhile, Nettie’s efforts to archive our history and oversee collection care and cataloging will lay the groundwork for a stronger institutional identity. By preserving our legacy, we’re not just honoring our past—we’re creating a roadmap for future growth. With well-documented archives and a cohesive art collection, we can enhance our reputation as a professional, forward-thinking arts organization.
As BDAC enters its next phase, we remain dedicated to creating meaningful connections with our local community through inspiring exhibitions and engaging educational programs. Informed by insights from our strategic planning process, we are deepening our commitment to supporting and elevating Utah’s artists, ensuring their growth and success remain a priority. At the same time, we are building strong partnerships, enhancing our infrastructure, and fostering innovation to solidify BDAC’s role as a leader in the regional arts community.
