Lindsay McBride

Lindsay McBride grew up in Arizona and Colorado and has since lived all over the country. She's loved and been interested in art her entire life. When McBride is actively creating—whether painting, drawing, photography, or playing with a chunk of clay—she is a happier and more balanced person. What she loves—even more—is when she gets to create art with her four sweet children! McBride received formal training at the Kansas City Art Institute and BYU-Hawaii. When her oldest child was starting school years ago, she realized quickly that her kids wouldn't enjoy the same art education she had during her formative years unless she found it outside of their schools or, better yet, taught them herself. McBride began teaching community art classes for children and adults seven years ago. She watched her young students grow into magnificent artists, and her adult students discover a love for artistic expression. She is passionate about teaching art because it inspires confidence in all aspects of life.
