All material (animate and inanimate) is on a trajectory toward transformation back into the most basic elements of the earth. In their exhibition, Inexorable Truth, Lim and Maisch, in their own unique ways, address the beauty and weight of this process and the very real human emotions that are attached to loss: loss of life, loss of utility, loss of purpose, loss of meaning. Ultimately, they both see loss as an opening to something new and a way to embrace our own fleeting existence on this beautiful journey called life.
