Puppetry Camp with Shelby Rickart

August 8 to 11 from 10:30-12:30

Ages 8-13

It’s time to put on music! It’s time to light the lights! It’s time to make a puppet and put on a show tonight!! Join Shelby Rickart from Puppets in the City for this fun four-day puppetry camp (two hours per day). Participants will: build their own rodded hand puppet to take home, learn how to bring their puppet to life, write their own script for a 15-minute puppet show and perform the show on the last day. Puppetry is a great way to spark creativity, tell stories, and encourage shyer children to participate in theatre.
