Joy Full: A Display of Wonder and Delight will feature artwork that invites viewers to experience moments of pure awe, happiness, and discovery. This exhibition is designed to engage audiences of all ages, encouraging visitors to explore art together. We invite everyone to look closely at pieces that spark curiosity, evoke nostalgia, and bring a smile.

This exhibition will showcase an array of works from both established and emerging artists who explore the themes of happiness, wonder, and the simple delights of life through diverse mediums, including painting, sculpture, installation and mixed media. Each piece has been carefully selected to evoke a sense of joy, sparking curiosity and inspiring a sense of childlike wonder in all who experience it.

Jason Lanegan nostalgic assemblages put his collection of childhood toys and treasures on display, memorializing them in beautiful handcrafted reliquaries like cabinets of curiosity. Viewers are invited to reminisce and engage in a personal narrative with his elegant oddities. John Connors’ and Becca Clason large-scale interactive installations will surprise and delight children of all ages with oversized pencils and towering flowers.

On the gallery walls, viewers will find the humorous, whimsical quilts of Rosanna Lynee Welter that are sure to make us giggle and the intricate shapes of Nicole Woodbury’s sculptures that cause one to pause in awe at the world around us. Visitors can also expect to see inspiring and exciting works by artists Marissa Albrecht, Barbara Nelson, Laura Erekson, Cindy Clark, Katie Kortman, Bethanne Anderson, Heather Olsen, McKay Lenker, Rosemarie Dunn, Emily Hawkins, and Leslie Graff.
