Exhibition Tours
BDAC’s free public exhibition tours invite visitors to look beyond the surface of the art, uncovering the techniques, ideas, and stories that make each piece unique. Led by trained docents, these tours reveal how to observe, interpret, and engage with art on a more profound level. Whether you’re new to the art world or a seasoned enthusiast, these tours provide fresh perspectives and a meaningful connection to the artwork in our galleries.
Public Tours
Perfect for individuals, families, or community groups, our docent tours are designed to deepen your appreciation for art by exploring the techniques, inspirations, and ideas behind the work on display. Visitors will gain tools to better understand not just individual pieces, but also the themes that connect a body of work.

School Tours
Introduce your students to the world of art with a 30- or 45-minute guided tour tailored to their age and interests. Led by knowledgeable museum educators, these interactive tours help students learn how to analyze and understand art, explore different techniques, and connect with the themes of the exhibition. Teachers are encouraged to include time for questions and discussion.

Senior Tours
BDAC welcomes senior groups for personalized exhibition tours. These slower-paced tours are conversational and focused on storytelling, exploring the life of the artists, the inspiration behind their work, and the cultural context of the exhibitions. Seniors will have the opportunity to connect with the art while enjoying an engaging and reflective experience.
